CHAN WU workshop for women

Conference on the topic of
"Nutrition and cancer prevention"

Saturday 18th of April 2015 in Orléans

During this one day workshop, we will be presenting the theme of the feminine universe. In the Chan Wu method, the feminine universe is an extremely important theme, explored in detail from a variety of angles. Several series of carefully designed exercises have been assembled to suit the specific physiological and psychological characteristics and needs of women. The objective of these is to accompany women through various stages of their life: menstrual cycles, pregnancy, menopause. Chan Wu aims to normalize the flows of both energy and blood, to help balance one’s emotions and bring more harmony to the hormonal system. Other benefits include: a slimmer silhouette and the cultivation of strength and flexibility.

On this same occasion, we will all have the great honor of attending a conference by Dr. An Yuqin, the mother of Lingxia, who is currently visiting France. An Yuqin, born in 1944, is a doctor in China, highly renowned for her extensive knowledge in the fields of materia medica, acupuncture and nutrition. A practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism for the past 30 years, she was initiated into the practice of medicine and qigong by a great Taoist doctor on the Hua mountain in Xian in the 1960s. A specialist in herbal medicine, she is often called upon in China by doctors and traditional pharmacists alike to share her expertise in the identification of unfamiliar plants and the concoction of new medicines. Over the past few years, she has, of her own good will, offered care and healing to patients who, suffering from serious tumors, had previously been deemed incurable by the hospital. Many of them eventually returned to their home in good health.
